Once again, I used Avidemux to merge file1 with file234 into file1. The frame width, frame height, and audio sample rate remained the same. So, I used Avidemux to change the frame rate on file1 to 30 frames/second. However, the audio and video go out of sync in the file1 portion. $ ffmpeg -f concat -safe 0 -i list.txt -c copy merged.mp4įor more information on the ffmpeg approach, this Stack Overflow question has some good information (as does ffmpeg man page, of course). When file2341 is played, the file234 portion is OK. Clicking save begins the media merging process. While not directly an answer to your question, I would personally use ffmpeg and its concat demuxer for this as it is more powerful (e.g. Hit the 'Join' button on the toolbar and MP4Joiner will open a save dialog box prompting you to choose the videos name and location. To join them in AviDemux: File -> Open -> Select File. I always use it in preference it joins AVC AAC.MP4 files (without recoding) fine for me. See the rest of the avidemux man page for more information. set avidemux'C:\Program Files\Avidemux 2.7 VC 64bits\avidemux.exe' set videocodecmp4 for f in (.mp4) do avidemux -video-codec videocodec -force-alt-h264 -load 'f' -append 'f' -save 'f.avi' -quit What this does is just open each file individually and save it individually, not actually merging them. Its just like VirtualDub, only with more formats supported and built-in codecs and filters. Set output format (AVI|OGM|ES|PS|AVI_DUAL|AVI_UNP|.), often named as container format Set audio codec (MP2/MP3/AC3/NONE (WAV PCM)/TWOLAME/COPY) Set video codec (Divx/Xvid/FFmpeg4/VCD/SVCD/DVD/XVCD/XSVCD/COPY) Launch Avidemux, and click File > Open to add the first video. This works for me: avidemux3_cli -load file1.mp4 -append file2.mp4 -append file3.mp4 -video-codec copy -audio-codec copy -output-format mp4 -save merged.mp4 If you are using a 32 bit Windows, and have video files other than MP4 format, then Avidemux can be used as a temporal solution to merge videos together.
